Sunday Cleaning

On Sunday I cleaned up after the party. It was a breeze!

Halloween at The Little Gym

I went to the Little Gym in my ladybug outfit.

I like walking on the high balance beam. I kept on practicing, over and over again, throughout the class. It was fun!

Trick or Treating

I went trick or treating on Sunday night and tonight.  Yesterday I went with Jason and Theo. As always, I like facing the opposite way.

I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. Why do I need to hold a basket? I prefer to hold candy in my hands.

Halloween Party

On Saturday I had a Halloween party. A lot of people came, including my friends Ethan, Owen, Declan and Henry, Gavin, Berkley, Jason and Theo and their parents Beth and Eric, Kate and Kyle, Beth, Kai and Tze, Eric and Miranda, and Rob and Sonya. My friend Jim also came and it was good to see him, too. Here is a picture is just some of the folks who came to my party.
I hung out with Theo and we chatted about the silly things the adults were doing.

Visit by Uncle Mark and Aunt Jennifer

Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Mark came to visit me on Thursday. It was fun to play with them!

Happy Halloween!

Mommy and Daddy took me trick-or-treating, but it took me a while to get the hang of it. I thought you were just supposed to run up and down the hall for an hour.

Visiting My Friend Owen

Expert Builder...

I got my first LEGO set, and I'm already an expert at dumping them all out on the floor. Sometimes, I even pick some of them up, if I feel like it.

Pasta Massacre

The pasta and meatballs last night took a little work to subjugate into my tummy. Mommy and Daddy gave me a bath after this historic battle.

Halloween at the Zoo

On Saturday I went to the Brookfield Zoo for their Halloween festival. I saw big furry animals walking around on two legs. They were very large and scary. I did not like them at all and am mystified as to why Mommy thought it would be fun to take a picture next to them. What if they eat your shoes, or worse? In fact, the one shown below has its hands to its mouth, so it must be hungry... hungry for a small 15-month-old little person?
I sat on a large bale of hay next to pumpkins with funny faces.  I like pumpkins and can even call them out by name, although Mommy and Daddy hears it as 'bum-bin'.
I took a walk through the corn maze. It was fun! I didn't mind the constant back-tracking since I got to walk all on my own rather than have to go where Mommy and Daddy go all the time.  And no, my head is not really this giant. They say the camera adds 1 foot to the circumference of one's head.
I took two rides on the 'haunted carousel'. It was the highlight of my trip! I really like riding on the animals and could hardly wait my turn in line. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon, but Daddy says the cost of the carousel rides are starting to add up to some real money. Daddy, that's mean!

Carrot-Fu Fighting

<Tune of 'Kung-Fu Fighting'>
Jordan was kung-fu fighting
She was faster than lightning
In fact it was a little bit frightening
Being dealt a carrot beating

Sunday Fun

I just hung out on Sunday and played with my toys. I tried on a new dress.
I like using my toys as step stools to climb up on furniture.  Mommy and Daddy says I like to cause trouble.

Children's Museum

On Saturday I went to the Children's Museum at Navy Pier.  I like the toddler room.  I like carrying the bowls!
I like building contraptions with Daddy.
I like sitting in the pretty little decorated chairs.
Daddy and I played an educational video game involving bumblebees.

New Shoes

Last week Mommy and Daddy got me new shoes.  They are 1.5 sizes bigger than my old pair.
They feel a lot more comfortable.

Fifteen Month Old Big Girl!

I'm 1 and 1/4 years old today going on 21!

Aunt Joyce the Runner

I went to see Auntie Joyce run the Chicago Marathon.  She almost won the race!
After the race, we hung out at Aunt Joyce's hotel room.  Playing with her luggage bag was a lot of fun!
Later on we just hung out and shared some girl time together.

Museum Outing

On Saturday I went with Aunt Joyce to the Museum of Science and Industry.  We saw the U-505 submarine.
I climbed on railings like a monkey.
I played on top of the anchor.
I'm not sure I know what's going on...
I like playing with the balls in the airflow exhibit.

Chair Painting

I like painting my 'high chair chair' with hummus. It's something to do since there's nothing else to do while I eat.

Morton Arboretum Race Oct 3

I had my first race last week. At the start, I knew it would be a piece of cake!
...Or rather, a big bowl of pasta, a bag of chocolate Teddy Grahams, and a whole cup of juice.  I finished it all in record time and 'ran' rapidly through the blueberries.
After I was done with my race, I cheered for Daddy. Go, Daddy, go!

Mango Monkey

A couple of weeks ago, I ate most of the mango Mommy had cut up to share. I was so messy that Mommy put a 'body bib' over me, one of her old t-shirts

Baby Shower Fun

A few weeks ago I went to my friend Roselyn's one-month-old baby shower.  She is very cute.
I like playing with my friend Skyler. We put blocks in a toy elephant together.
I like checking out the sidewalks and walk-ways in front of the houses, something I don't see a lot of living in the city!

Laundry Train

Mommy took me for a ride on the laundry basket train. All aboard!
