I just made my first poop in my froggy potty. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me. I got a present for successfully using the potty!

Daredevil
I like exercising on Daddy's exercise equipment. A minute after Mommy took this picture, I decided to stand on this structure using no hands to hold the bars! I kept on losing my balance and falling off but I always got back up right away to try it again.
Pooh Growth Chart
Daddy, Mommy and I spent some time this evening putting up a Pooh Bear growth chart. I helped put up the butterflies and bees.
Daddy is taller than the chart goes! I wonder when will be as tall as he is.

Backyard Fun
Mommy and Daddy played with me in the backyard today. It was fun to make fresh tracks in the snow!
Daddy made me pull him in the snow. Slave driver! Actually, it was my idea, but I just like to call him names.
It was hard to build a snowman with the powdery snow, but I did it with Daddy's help. The snow would be perfect for skiing.
Fun at the Park
We played at the park outside my preschool this morning. In preschool, they like to have all the kids out for 15 to 20 minutes to get some exercise and play, even in the snow as long as it's not bitterly cold. Today was only cold, not bitterly cold. This is the first time I got to play in this kids' play area.
I cried at first because one of the preschool teachers put me on the see-saw and I didn't want to ride that.
I wanted to ride the bouncy scooter instead.
I cried after Mommy walked away. Mommy felt bad for me.

2.5 Year Checkup
Yesterday I went to see my pediatrician for my 2-and-a-half year checkup. I weigh 35 pounds (95 percentile), am 38.5 inches tall (98 percentile) and have a head circumference of 19 7/8 in. (95 percentile). My BMI is 16.6, which is 50 to 75 percentile and is good. It would be bad to be 95+ percentile there since it would mean being unhealthily fat!
The doctor asked Mommy several questions about my physical and verbal development. She was surprised when she heard I said, "I promise I will buy you another toy, kitty!" However, when Mommy asked if kids my age know their ABCs, the doctor said that some kids did. I guess I'm behind the curve there. Or more accurately, I guess Mommy thinks I'm behind the curve.
I also received the second dose of the Hepatitis A vaccine. It was very quick, so I didn't cry long and I was happy to get a Tweety Bird band-aid.

Family Picture
Mommy, Daddy, Alex and I got together for a family picture today. I need to bring a picture of my family for preschool, to put on my sitting mat.
Language Class
I was (in)patiently waiting for "chwei1 bin3" (pretzels) to be placed on my "pan2 zi" (plate) in Mandarin language class today. That's why I looked grumpy when Mommy took a picture of me.

Hot Pot Party!
On Saturday we had a small gathering for hot pot. I got into position early!
I played with Mommy and Daddy's friends, Jinju, Grace and Michael. I sat with Jinju on the staircase and gave her a hug.
I had fun playing Legos with Michael. He is really good with little kids like me!
That's Mommy's Girl!
THIS is the definition of imaginative...while all the other kids in music class at Gymboree were staidly clapping their blocks to make music, I decided they were better suited as roller skates! Then the other kids started imitating me. Mommy was laughing. It reminded her of how she was when she was a kid.

My First Gallery Piece
I painted this yesterday, when I turned two and a half years old. It's no Jackson Pollock - it's better!

Milestones
I'm two and a half years old today and starting preschool today. I had fun! Mommy was in the class observing and easing the transition to preschool for me.

Super Builder!
I built this "sandcastle" all by myself, without any help from anyone! Mommy and Daddy said they are really proud of me.
Later, Daddy helped me build a city of sandcastles.

Art Class
Yesterday Mommy took me to art class offered as a community program at a local church. But I'd prefer to play with the Legos in the classroom!

Adventure Shmventure
Mommy promised that we would go have an adventure and packed us in the car. But then she and Daddy took turns going into a furniture store to look for dining room furniture. I wasn't allowed to get out of the car, much less 'have an adventure' shopping for furniture. This is blatant misrepresentation!
Game Night
Last night, Mommy and Daddy took baby brother and me to game night. I watched TV with my friends Jason and Theo. I lounged in the bean bag chair and got really comfortable.
Jason gave me a hug.
