Morton Arboretum Adventure

This morning we went to the Morton Arboretum. I like patting the frogs in the Children's Garden.

I also like climbing on the acorn play structure.

"There's no water!"

I threw pebbles into the water with another little girl. It was fun!

I like pretending to be a spider with Daddy!

...Except when it looks like he's getting ready to eat me!

Gymboree Music Class

I really enjoy music class at Gymboree. I go every Saturday morning. The teacher calls my name a lot because I participate and I answer her questions. Here it almost looks like we are teaching the class together, doesn't it?

New Roller Skates

Yesterday evening the roller skates that Mommy bought me arrived. They are awesome! They are training skates and have three different settings. Mommy put these skates on the first setting where the wheels are locked. She says I have to learn how to walk in my skates first.

She also got me elbow, knee, and wrist pads. Don't I look tough in this picture? 

Mommy had to go to Costco to get groceries, so Daddy went with me to practice in the basement where there is more open space.

Brookfield Zoo Adventure

I got to go to the zoo again this weekend. This was the first time I rode on the lion at the front gate. He was fierce but I got him to let me ride him!

I went on off-roading on my own nature hike.

I went around to all the logs and pretended to be a beaver: "chomp chomp!"

I enjoy the playgrounds at the zoo, especially the slides.

We stopped by the Children's Zoo. I tried to break into the barn where the sheep live.

I went on the merry-go-round. I promised to not cry after going on the ride two times, but I cried after the first ride, when I had to get off and get back in line as well as after the second ride. Mommy was disappointed.

It's fun to swim in leaves!

Especially when I get to hang out with Daddy. As a bonus, we both have beards in this picture!
