Kite Afternoon

After the Seton picnic, we went to a kite event put on by the Naperville Park District. Just as we got there, it started pouring and a lot of cars left the parking lot at once. We were the only car going in! Just like in those disaster films where the storm chaser goes one direction but all the other cars are speeding the other way. The rain lasted only about 10 minutes, and then we joined the stalwarts of kite flying who weren't going to let a deluge of rain deter them. We didn't have a kite, so Daddy resuscitated a kite from the garbage can. We got the kite to rise high up in the air.

Alex and I also got up on stage and performed!

Seton Picnic

This afternoon, we went to the Seton family picnic. There was a bounce house and I like jumping in it!

My friend Quinn and I spent some time "making poison for bad guys."

I played with my baby brother Alex, too.

Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese

Today I got to go to my friend Riki's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. I had a lot of fun!

Waterpark Fun

Yesterday and today we went on a mini-vacation to the Coco Key Water Resort in Rockford. I had a lot of fun and went on a bunch of water slides like a big kid.

First we stopped at the local Steak n' Shake for a burger. I got to wear a silly hat!

For dinner on Saturday night and for lunch on Sunday, we ate at Cracker Barrel. It was Mommy's idea.

It's funny how they have furniture in front of the store.

Sitting Together with Alex

Alex and I sat down together for a moment and I showed him the ants that Daddy had just captured for my ant farm. I like showing him stuff and sharing my big kid knowledge with him!

Santa's Village Azoosment

On Sunday, we went to Santa's Village in Dundee. I got to go on a lot of rides, including the Dragon Roller Coaster, which was my favorite ride. I had a lot of fun!
