Mommy and Daddy took me house hunting today. I like exploring the furniture and unusual fruit - like tiny bananas - inside other peoples' homes. Daddy called the bananas a strange name, "plaintains". Why make up new words just to sound fancy? I will keep calling them "tiny bananas".
I encountered interesting new animal friends. I saw Mr. Raccoon resting by the basement fireplace. At first, I kept my distance. Later, I went over and started playing with him and gave him a hug.
I love the stairs - any stairs - in the houses. I can't wait to move into a house with stairs. I'd go up and down the staircases 100 times a day!
Mommy and Daddy have to watch me all the time to keep me out of trouble. I like the glass decorations and trinkets in other peoples' homes. They always prevent me from picking them up and playing with them.
I found a couple of toys in a toy bin and carried them around the house. Mommy preferred I left other folks' stuff alone, but I didn't think it was such a big deal. I mean, toys are for playing with, right?
I discovered a nice play area in the basement. It was nicely decorated. I could spend all afternoon down here! But Mommy didn't let me ride the rocking frog in the corner or let me play with Elmo or the other toys. So mean!
