Speaking Monkey-Dolphin

When I want something now, I squeak like a monkey-dolphin. Most of the time, Mommy and Daddy don't even know what I want. I like to keep them guessing.

Beef Beard

I went to the Brookfield Zoo today. I had Italian beef for lunch and I decided to save some for later. There's no better place to keep it than on my chin!
One of the big toy manufacturers had a play area advertising new toys for the season. The rock-n-rolling Mickey Mouse fascinated me. I wasn't sure quite what to make of him.

I rode the carousel twice today, once with Mommy and once with Daddy. I sat on a tiger the first time. The second time, I sat on a panda.
Daddy looks really funny in this picture.

Rocking Chair

I went to see Grandma and Grandpa Meyers for Labor Day, and I got to try out the rocking chair Daddy used to sit in. Now that I have a chair at home, I'm basically a chair expert.

Summer Dress

This is probably one of the few nice warm days of summer left, so Mommy let me wear this sundress for the first time.  I'm a little skeptical since I don't normally wear dresses.  I usually roll much more in the spirit of 'easy casual'.

I need a purse if I'm going to be wearing a dress, so I 'borrowed' Mommy's.

Children's Museum

I went to the Children's Museum on Navy Pier yesterday.  I walked around for about 30 minutes in the toddlers' play area holding onto metal bowls.

I also like the WaterWorks exhibit.  I like playing without a raincoat on.

Messy Monkey

This is a photo from a few days ago when I had pasta with tomato sauce.

Brookfield Zoo Trip

We went to the Brookfield Zoo last weekend. Here I am riding the carousel, almost all by myself...

Daddy took this picture of the sea lions. I could go all the way up to the tank.

The sea lions were kind of big and scary, so I escaped in my canoe...

Mommy tricked me into taking this picture. She said I was posing as a superhero...

This tortoise was funny-looking and way too slow for me...

Mommy and Daddy thought this rope wall that keeps the birds in could keep me contained, too, but I escaped!

I'm Princess of The World!

Mommy and Daddy didn't know I could climb a whole flight of stairs. Daddy looked so tiny at the bottom - that was funny.

Supergirl!

Mommy bought me this Supergirl costume, but she says it's too big for me, so I'm going to be a ladybug for Halloween instead. I think I look super cute...

My Chair

Daddy got me a chair from Pottery Barn this weekend. I like to sit in my chair and read books. It is just the right size for me. Best of all, it is just for me - no adults allowed!

Seaweed Monster

I saw Mommy eating seaweed and wanted to try some, too.  She let me have a few pieces, whereupon I quickly transformed... into the Seaweed Monster!
