Yesterday we went to Ottawa for the 50th anniversary celebration for Grandma and Grandpa Meyers. There were a few kids there. I got to play with my friends Ethan and big Alex.

Dave DiNaso's Traveling Reptiles

Mommy took us to the library for a special program, a reptile show. We saw lots of fascinating reptiles and amphibians.
I touched every animal we were allowed to pet, including the 150 lb. python.

Ravinia Park

We went to Ravinia this afternoon. I played with my friend Berkley.
Daddy decided to do the robot dance at some point. Go, Daddy, go!
We only stayed for about an hour because it started raining really hard. I had so much fun running in the rain!

CJ's Birthday Party

I had a lot of fun at CJ's first birthday party.
Tommy Hawk dropped by the party. He was a great hit with the kids. He performed a magic trick with Daddy.
And made them all crash down!

Friday Evening Park

I showed Mommy a new park today. It is actually the playground at the school I will be going to for kindergarten. It's about time we found this park - it's only been two years since we moved here!

Uniquely Thursdays

On Thursday night, we went to the park and had a picnic while listening to the concert. Yes, that was a joke. Alex and I ate a few bites of food, ran around and goofed off while Mommy and Daddy caught a few notes of music here and there in between chasing us.

We got to check out the town fire engine. I like pretending to be a firefighter.

"What are you doing, Jordan?"
"The Yoga-Hoga!"

Morton Arboretum Family Night Fun

Yesterday evening, we went to Family Night at the Arboretum. We had a lot of fun listening to the concert, playing in the Children's Garden, and having a dinner out in the open air.

Kite Afternoon

After the Seton picnic, we went to a kite event put on by the Naperville Park District. Just as we got there, it started pouring and a lot of cars left the parking lot at once. We were the only car going in! Just like in those disaster films where the storm chaser goes one direction but all the other cars are speeding the other way. The rain lasted only about 10 minutes, and then we joined the stalwarts of kite flying who weren't going to let a deluge of rain deter them. We didn't have a kite, so Daddy resuscitated a kite from the garbage can. We got the kite to rise high up in the air.
Alex and I also got up on stage and performed!

Seton Picnic

This afternoon, we went to the Seton family picnic. There was a bounce house and I like jumping in it!
My friend Quinn and I spent some time "making poison for bad guys."
I played with my baby brother Alex, too.

Future Lego Master Builder

I built this all by myself!
