New Shoes

Mommy and Daddy bought me new pink and white shoes from Stride Rite on Sunday. They are size 7.5. My old pair was size 6.5.

Bubbles Academy

Mommy took me to Bubbles Academy on Saturday so Daddy could paint the house. I like playing with the play kitchen.
I like pushing my shopping cart around the big room, terrorizing everyone.
Mommy thinks I look cute in the pirate's hat.

Home Tours

On Sunday we went to see more homes. There is so much furniture in strangers' houses!
Given the chance, I would play with all the fancy glass knick-knacks I come across...
...and fling myself down the stairs. Daddy wouldn't let me go down the stairs on my own.
Mommy put me on the couch and gave me a remote to play with. But I didn't stay on the couch for long.

Kohl's Children's Museum

On Saturday, Mommy took me to the Children's Museum in Glenview. I like playing with various gadgets on the tables.
I also like playing with the train sets with other kids.
We had lunch at Chipotle's before going to the museum but we went to the museum cafe to get a snack. The food took a while to get to our table.

Lego Baby

I got into the Lego bin yesterday and Daddy carried me around the house.

Valentine's Day

I was the only one who remembered Valentine's Day this year! Mommy thinks this is very very sweet.

I also created special artwork for Mommy and Daddy.

Tours of Houses

On Sunday morning I went on house tours with Mommy and Daddy. Other people have interesting things in their homes.
I like exploring all the nooks and crannies. This house even had a small cubby hole for small people!
It also had a large basement. I'm measuring how many steps across it is.
I like climbing the stairs of all the houses...
...and on furniture.
After this picture, I slimed the table real good. Daddy had to get a paper towel and wipe it all off.
Daddy carried me through most of this house because I was getting grumpy.
I like looking out the windows.

Playdate

Mommy and Daddy's friends Kate and Kyle invited us and another couple over yesterday afternoon. I got to play with my friend Owen...
...and meet a new friend, Lucy.
I like hanging out.
Owen really goes at his sea slug. I'm kind of amazed.
I was very excited at the Elmo on the wall.
I liked using Owen's jumper even though I'm much too big for it.

Sleeping Cutie

These are pictures from yesterday afternoon. I like to sleep with my diaper hanging out. Get over it.
Mommy and Daddy didn't let me have a blankie for the first year of my life, so I've never gotten used to sleeping under the covers. I throw my blanket overboard all the time when it's given to me.

Goodnight Cutie

Tonight I sat with Pookey Bunny and Tigger for storytime with Daddy before bedtime.

Morning Cutie

Daddy suggested we take a special photo of me for Mommy because she's out of town through this entire week. She won't get to see me until Friday night if I stay up late or Saturday morning!

Tiger Daddy

Mommy's out of town on business, so Daddy made me read a big book with lots of complex text. See all the small print on the page? Mommy says, "Whoa, Tiger Daddy!" She's keen to help me become smarter, but even she would start with big kids' books first rather than a book on "Mathematical and logical puzzles"! :)

Hanging Out at Game Night

I liked hanging out with Jason during game night yesterday.
We watched Star Wars: Attack of the Clones together.

House Hunting

Mommy and Daddy took me house hunting today. I like exploring the furniture and unusual fruit - like tiny bananas - inside other peoples' homes. Daddy called the bananas a strange name, "plaintains". Why make up new words just to sound fancy? I will keep calling them "tiny bananas".
I encountered interesting new animal friends. I saw Mr. Raccoon resting by the basement fireplace. At first, I kept my distance. Later, I went over and started playing with him and gave him a hug.
I love the stairs - any stairs - in the houses. I can't wait to move into a house with stairs. I'd go up and down the staircases 100 times a day!
Mommy and Daddy have to watch me all the time to keep me out of trouble. I like the glass decorations and trinkets in other peoples' homes. They always prevent me from picking them up and playing with them.
I found a couple of toys in a toy bin and carried them around the house. Mommy preferred I left other folks' stuff alone, but I didn't think it was such a big deal. I mean, toys are for playing with, right?
I discovered a nice play area in the basement. It was nicely decorated. I could spend all afternoon down here! But Mommy didn't let me ride the rocking frog in the corner or let me play with Elmo or the other toys. So mean!
