Halloween

I had a lot of fun trick-or-treating this evening. Everyone thought I was very cute in my Supergirl costume, although most people thought I was a boy!
We trick-or-treated for about an hour and a half. I was so full of energy that I decided spontaneously to do some Halloween yoga.

Halloween Party

I invited my friends over for a Halloween party today. We played in the basement and had lunch together.
My nanny Margie made us a cool Halloween dessert just for the occasion!

Boo at the Zoo

Today we went to the zoo. I was decked out in my winter gear.
I went into the giraffes' house to see them. Inside was a statue of a baby giraffe which I rode on.
I played in the observation deck in the playground.
I played peek-a-boo with Daddy. He said I was missing the point of the holes in the wall.
I rode on the merry-go-round, holding on all on my own.
Mommy enjoyed riding the merry-go-round with me.

Jordan The Explorer

Daddy bought special explorer flashlights to wear on our heads. Now I'm just like Dora!

Costume Story Time

Today's session of story time at the library was special: we all got to dress up in our Halloween costumes.
I took a picture with all my story time pals.
Mommy took a picture of me sitting alone, after I had busted the bad guys.

Park Fun

I played with my friend Sedonah at the park this morning. We sat on the tire swing together and spun around.
I took the tire around for a few spins on my own, too.
I can also swing on the big kids' swings now, both monkey style...
...and the normal way. Mommy can't believe how big I am getting.

Morton Arboretum

On Sunday we went to the Morton Arboretum. There were lots of people there for the fall color viewing. I liked playing in the Children's Garden and enjoyed rolling the large ball with water dripping off it. Look at how I am keeping it from spinning despite the efforts of three larger boys!
I finally got them to move away from the ball.
I also liked putting items into the buckets while Daddy sat on an invisible chair. No, really... what is Daddy doing in this picture? Silly Daddy!
Look, I'm a spider! Look out, Daddy, I'm going to trap you in my web!
I like pumping water.
I found another play area to explore.
Mommy tried to play "Leaf Twister" with me...
...but I wanted to play with the buckets some more.
It was a fun day. Mommy and Daddy got a family membership to this special park, so we can come back sometime and have a picnic and explore more!

Indoor Skiing

I made skis by walking on laminated music sheets. I thought it up all on my own. Mommy says I am very creative and have a good imagination. I like skiing inside the house.

Going Around the Block

Mommy took me around the block this afternoon. I like hugging the trees along the route. Big trees...
...and small trees alike. Mommy thinks it is very cute.

I am fascinated by sticks and stems I find along my route and have started collecting them.

My Red Boat

Mommy cleaned out a canvas bucket for me to store my toys in, but I found a better use for it: as my boat!

Hanging Out

Today I had a playdate with my friend Sedonah at her house. She shared her toys with me. We had lots of fun!

Conquered Daddy

I climbed Mount Daddy today. Mount Daddy was groaning from the pain due to the weight on his back.

My Empire State Building

I am getting really good at building tall towers of blocks.

Chocolate Beard

I have a beard, just like Daddy does... except it's all made from chocolate!

Halloween Party

Today I went to a Halloween party at a neighbor's house just a few doors down the street.
I rode on the kid-sized roller coaster. I like how I can control it and make it go or stop with the flip of a switch.
I also played on their outdoor equipment, including a slide and swing set.

Sitting with My Baby Brother

Last night I got to sit and hold my baby brother Alex for the first time. He patted my cheek!
But then he started licking my arm and I cried out in alarm, "Baby Alex is eating me!" I made a hasty retreat when the photo session was over.

Baby Brother Alex

My baby brother Alex came home from the hospital on Friday. He is tiny and all he seems to do is cry and wiggle around. He doesn't say hi back when I say "Hi, Alex!" Mommy says that's because he is too small to understand what I'm saying. Gosh, I sure hope he grows up fast so I can play with him.

Mommy says that Alex looks just like I did when I was a newborn.

Alex has his own blog at www.alexmeyers.me.

Pumpkin Farm

On Sunday, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and I went to the Pumpkin Farm. The first thing I did was ride on the train. It was fun!
I also enjoyed the frog ride...
...and the honey pots ride where I got to spin around and around in a circle!
There was a funny scarecrow mooning the riders by the honey pots.
I milked a cow! Although Mommy knows that I mostly just like to play with the water.
I got to drive a tractor around the field!
Daddy and I played in the corn box. I have never seen so much corn in my life... it was like swimming in corn!
We made corn angels.
They also had a display of very large pumpkins. It was for a pumpkin context. Some of the pumpkins were close to a thousand pounds. It was a fun day.
